BC small businesses have paid $3 billion in carbon taxes over the last four years with no relief.
WHERE IS MY MONEY GOING?
WHERE IS THE RELIEF FOR MY SMALL BUSINESS?
Small businesses care about the environment, but your carbon tax is failing us. It’s no wonder that 8 in 10 BC small businesses now oppose the provincial carbon tax.
While the federal government is returning billions in carbon tax revenues to small businesses in provinces under the federal backstop, your government has collected $3 billion from BC businesses since 2020/2021 without providing ANY relief.
The cost of everything is up. We face the highest fuel prices in the country. It’s getting harder to compete with other provinces. My revenues can’t keep pace and I can’t keep raising prices. The upcoming election will determine the future of BC’s carbon tax, but in the meantime, small businesses need relief NOW!
