Toronto, January 19, 2021 – Red Tape Awareness Week™ will be back for its 12th year of challenging governments to reduce harmful and excessive regulation from January 25 to 29, announces the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
“COVID-19 has brought into sharp focus the importance of keeping red tape to a minimum—from fast-tracking vaccines and patio approvals to getting government support programs out quickly. As we turn our attention to recovery, reducing red tape can help stimulate the battered economy and create desperately needed jobs in a low-cost way,” said Laura Jones, Executive Vice-President at CFIB.
