Ryan Mallough is the Vice-President, Legislative Affairs, Ontario and Vice-President, Communications with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). Ryan has been active in managing the Ontario response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is responsible for the electricity, environment, municipal, and cannabis & alcohol files.

Ryan joined CFIB in 2015 with the communications team before moving over to the Ontario advocacy team in 2016. In 2023 he began to oversee both departments. Prior to joining the organization, Ryan worked at the University of Toronto as a Communications Officer as well as in the research department at Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada.

Ryan holds a B.Soc.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Ottawa and a M.A. in Journalism from Western University.
