Alex Oulton is a Policy Analyst based in Atlantic Canada for the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). Located in Halifax, she advocates for small businesses at all levels of government with a passion for municipal policy.

Alex joined CFIB in 2023 as an intern before transitioning into her current role. She authored the first Atlantic Municipal Report, examining and rating how municipalities across Atlantic Canada respond to the needs of small businesses.

Alex holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Acadia University.
